As I prepared to sell my home in Richmond Hill, I listened to arguments for and against hiring a real estate agent. During this time, Kim was highly recommended to me and upon hiring her I soon found out for myself that Kim is an agent who is both highly skilled and principled.

Her suggestions for my attempts at “staging” were much appreciated and probably had a lot to do with her interest in fine arts and interior design. I also had many compliments about the pictures taken inside and outside the house. The photographer she worked with helped to make the house look its best without distorting what the house actually looked like.

As we considered the offers, Kim asked for my direction, where appropriate. She also knew when to act independently in, for instance, seeking legal counsel where I was not knowledgeable enough to suspect possible legal problems in dealing with one particular offer.

The house sold after being on the market for only two weeks - and this was during the cold months of January and February when I’m told that, compared to other months, houses usually take longer to sell.

The whole experience of working with Kim gave evidence to what a good real estate agent can accomplish. It was also a pleasure to see how much she enjoyed her work. I certainly have no reservations in recommending Kim to anyone looking for a highly competent real estate agent. I feel very lucky to have connected with such a capable, hard-working professional.

Re: Sale of property @ 22 Madawaska Ave., Willowdale. I would just like to say that we found Kim to be very easy to deal with. The sale she helped us with was the selling of our Fathers house. He had passed away and with my other 2 sisters we had the task of selling the family home we grew up in. So Kim not only had to deal with 1 seller she had 3 sellers as we all needed to agree on things. My one sister lives out west and had just moved from B.C. to Saskatchewan so she was quite fresh in dealing with the sale of a home. I myself knew Kim prior to the sale and felt quite comfortable with her, but my older sisters had to agree on her as an agent.

At first my sisters wanted to check out 3 or more agents before deciding on one. Well after their first meeting with Kim they said that they changed their minds and wanted to list with her. Kim did a great job for us, the sign went up on the property on a Thursday and the following Monday it hit the MLS listings we had multiple offers and sold it Tuesday night for over the asking price. My sisters were very happy and so was I.

Kim had helped with what might have been a stressful time and made it very easy.

I found Kim to be a very patient, kind, thoughtful, and hard-working real estate agent as she sought to sell my house in Richmond Hill. (She also has a great sense of humour.) I could not have asked for anything more from her - she had already done it all.

Since I had already moved a long way away, she took over some of the final details of presenting the house, without my help. And did a wonderful job, by the way. Because of some unusual factors, it proved to be a difficult house to sell, even though it looked really good on paper. She spent a long time dealing with numerous prospective buyers, holding open houses, and following up with everyone who dropped by.

In the end I received more than the price I was asking plus very good conditions (read none). I wasn't expecting this much attention from an agent because I had never sold a house before, but she has set a very high standard for the next one I work with. Therefore I highly recommend her to you.

Almost two years ago I requested Kim Gingell to sell our 3 year old Condo in Richmond Hill. We knew it would not be easy as another 3 suites had been on the market for over one year. Kim arranged for a guy to video the whole suite and transferred it to the internet - a great job.

Would you believe within 3 weeks a lady saw the video and fell in love with the suite before actually seeing it? That same evening she purchased just $5k below asking price.
